Editor's note:  It seems that Mickey and Rosita were having so much fun that they didn't have time to write in the journal for quite a few days. 

The Library and a Favorite Book

Today we go to the library. Here is a good book. But Rosita does not speak English. Does the library have "Flat Stanley" in Spanish?

Our Animals

"Rosita and I like animals. We don't have lions and tigers, but Rosita has a dog. It is a flat dog. I don't have a dog, but I have a bird. My bird is flat also. "

The Zoo

" At the zoo, there are a bear, a bird, a wolf, an elephant, a kangaroo, a lion, a monkey, a tiger and a sheep.
Rosita and I have a good day at the zoo. I like the zoo very much."

Yellow Flowers and Chocolate Bunnies

There are flowers at the park. We walk at the park and look at the flowers.
I like the yellow flowers."
We have chocolate bunnies. One for me and another for Rosita."

"Today we go to the supermarket, because we are hungry. Rosita wants avocados and some bananas. I want ice cream and chocolate."

It's Fake Journal Month Again - 2012

It's Fake Journal time again, and Flat Mickey is ready for another adventure, sticking a bit closer to home this time. She has a new friend who doesn't speak English, so FM will be learning Spanish. She doesn't know many words yet, and only the present tenses of verbs, so her writings may not be gramatically correct. She is still using the same Cheap Joe journal, even though it hasn't worked out the best with watercolor, since there are still a lot of pages left. FM will be posting the first page later today.
